Just A Note…

As I am sitting at a dentist appointment with my husband who needs a few things worked on, I am reminded how time does NOT fly when pain is involved. I don’t like going to the dentist anyway so even coming just to sit and support him makes me squirm. I’m guessing the dental hygienist checking out my facial expressions knows it too.

In life, there are so many times it would be easier to run, just not show up, or hurry through a process to say we did it. However, I know that God uses even the smallest details to shape our minds, build patience and produce endurance so that we can mature. Not always fun but worth remembering that the journey is what makes us who we are and eventually what we look back on and draw encouragement from. Thankfully God does not leave us by ourselves to try to figure out how to show others He cares about them. In fact, God shows us through His love every day and teaches us through the love of others and His word.

So… don’t give up on others or yourself. If you still have breath, there is much love left to receive and give. Keep your eyes and heart open – there are many people who are hungry to be loved.

“Above all things have intense and unfailing love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins.”  Proverbs 10:12
