Adopt A Grandparent

With so many nursing homes not allowing visitors due to COVID-19 and the devastating impact it has on the elderly, this leaves them quite lonely for company. CHD, a nursing home that owns 13 facilities around London has started a program called “Adopt A Grandparent”. They invite those from all around the world to participate in video calls with their assigned grandparents.

If you have extra time on your hands and have the desire to help those in need, this is a perfect opportunity. You can offer companionship and help keep their spirits high right from your own home! Letters, drawings and poetry can also be sent in from you or your children!
